Segue Technologies® was awarded a contract to provide sustainment and development services to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Stock Control System (SCS).
SCS delivers world-wide readiness and sustainability for the Department of Defense (DoD) joint war fighter through faster, more accurate allocation and movement of AF-managed materiel. The SCS operational mission is to automate the management of supply and provide enhanced processing of stock control transactions and management information at USAF and USMC inventory control points. SCS provides worldwide combat support for Air Force and Marine Corps customers via worldwide wholesale/retail asset visibility, material allocation and real-time requisition processing. The evolution of the SCS has involved extensive software modernization, development, and integration. SCS consists of two architectures, the SCS Mainframe and the SCS Mid-Tier.
In addition to providing system sustainment, maintenance, and modification of SCS, Segue’s team will also work with the PMO to support long-term modernization, which may include meeting the needs for security and technology updates, as well as developing new functionality. In supporting SCS, Segue strives to enhance the control of allocation, storage, movement, and financial inventory accounting of Government-managed materiel for the Air Force.
