AFLCMC SCS Modernization and Sustainment
Segue Technologies® provided system sustainment, maintenance, and modification of the Stock Control System (SCS) for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)
About the Client
The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (AFLCMC/HI), Logistics Legacy Systems Division (AFLCMC/HIA) requires sustainment and maintenance support for its legacy Stock Control System (SCS). The SCS controls the allocation, storage, movement, and financial inventory accounting of Government-managed materiel; provides supply support to depot maintenance facilities at the Air Logistics Centers (ALCs); delivers asset visibility of managed items; and provides optimal distribution/redistribution of stock through the leveling processes.
The Challenge
Segue Technologies® was challenged to provide system sustainment, maintenance, and modification of the Stock Control System (SCS). The D035 is a suite of systems that provide key functionality to the Air Force and other Government agencies for Asset Management. In addition, the Segue team provided analysis and estimates for requirements for SCS throughout contract performance related to Modification and Modernization of SCS. In addition to providing 24/7 on call support, the team successfully maintained an ambitious schedule of software releases annually. To provide exceptional support, the team tracked software changes through a configuration management system and prioritized system changes based on need and necessity.
