Segue Technologies® was awarded a contract to support the Manpower Programming and Execution System (MPES) for ongoing Information Technology (IT) life cycle maintenance of all system modules on both NIPR and SIPR instances.
MPES is a suite of web-based application tools for manpower budgeting, unit manning position management, workforce modeling, and reporting and analysis for the Active, Guard, Reserve, and civilian workforce. MPES is the authoritative data source for all Air Force manpower actions through the Unit Manpower Document (UMD), which manages and produces information for use at all levels within the Air Force and the Department of Defense (DoD) that show staffing and associated costs for Active Duty, Civilians, Guard and Reserve forces in the official Air Force manpower budget
Segue has been relied on as the vendor of choice for the MPES suite of mission critical applications since 2007. Segue is responsible for all software design, development, engineering, quality assurance, testing, and system support activities for all MPES applications including UMD, FYDP, MGAM, SGAM and Business Objects for ad hoc and standard reports. Segue has demonstrated subject matter expertise with Air Force Manpower programs and complex processes as the foundation for innovative MPES technical solutions. The MPES team leverages Agile best practices to ensure technical support efforts align with user’s needs, priorities, budget and schedule.
Segue continues to modernize the MPES applications in preparation for migration to the Cloud to increase performance and system availability, with dynamic resource scaling to reduce costs. Segue continues to be the “vendor of choice” to automate MPES requirements and business rules with software and secure information management capabilities accredited to operate in the Pentagon infrastructure.
