David Hart, Segue’s Business Development Manager, has been elected as the incoming President of the Dayton-Wright AFCEA chapter.
The Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA) is the largest professional defense industry association in the world. The Dayton-Wright Chapter is one of the larger and most successful chapters, with a membership that fluctuates between 500-600 members at any given time. These members are comprised mostly of industry and government professionals associated with Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
“It’s an honor to be elected into this role as Chapter President,” said Hart. “I really enjoy the people side of this business and engaging all the base and industry leadership. Serving as president is a great way to build deep, trust-filled relationships with our government customers”
As president, David will serve a two year term and will have a team of several dozen volunteers that he will work with to support the activities of the chapter. The chapter organizes monthly luncheons, the immensely popular Military Valentines Ball, and a summer Golf Outing. Proceeds from chapter funds directly support educational scholarships and grants for the local military and STEM Students.
